Too sweet for words......

We have been very bust at the Moa household lately (notice not much blogging going on :), but I wouldn't change it for anything. Our wonderful girl Josey had her puppies on February 19th and we were shocked to find that she had 12 puppies! They are all beautiful and healthy and the mommy is doing great. There is a sweet little one that we have come attached to that we did not think was going to make it. After Josey cut to close to it's tummy when removing the imbilical cord, it bled pretty bad. For a few moments, we thought it might bleed out. But with a little "patch" job, he is doing great. His new name is now "Patch" and Klinton is trying to convince me that we should keep him. I have to say, it is hard not to keep all of them, as we have names for many and have become attached. They are so precious and I often find myself sitting out there late at night just watching God's miracle. I found myself thinking, "My goodness, I am amazed (blown away actually) at the miracles of life in front of me; my kids and now these beautiful puppies. But then I realize how great and mighty he is when I think at all he has created...."
Aliyah, my oldest who is 5, is always wanting to just sit out there. She just sits in the chair, doesn't say a word, doesn't try to touch them, and just watches them. She is out there for hours on end every day. It is so sweet, too sweet for words..........

KIDS!....AAHH!.....

So this last weekend we got family photos done.....finally, I know. This was Kamden's 2nd photo shoot. The first was at his first birthday. (I know, I was horrible at getting his photos done....) To say the least I know now that God finally gave me my child that throws fits. (He has such a temper! :) The girls were angels, smiling and trying to place their hands just so. Kamden on the other hand was throwing himself on the floor, resulting in him hitting his head on the wood floors, and FINALLY resulting in him having a bright red face resulting in his platinum hair glowing...lol. To say the least Klinton and I left exhausted and sweating from trying to make the photos look like he was just a sweet little angel....hah! They did turn out very cute and we pulled it off. (Now I know why I only want to do this ONCE a year! :) Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas......Happy New Year!

WHITE CHRISTMAS....

COME INSIDE AND WARM UP................

Today I tried to stay home and inside where it is nice and warm. The snow started falling early this morning and by noon it had dropped 6 inches already! Most people are complaining, but I have been stopping and seeing the true beauty of God's work. How amazing is he! We are so blessed to have a warm home to find shelter, the pantry stocked, and a family to love. This holiday season, there are people who are not as fortunate as us.....I am guilty as well as complaining about the snowy roads and not being able to finish christmas shopping. But today I encourage you to take 10 minutes to stop and see the true beauty around you. The view at my house is beautiful.....
We also took some time to play in the snow with Josey (the BEST golden retriever in the world! :) And our newest dog Scooter....They LOVED it!

Klinton also had some fun of his own. One year when we lived in Lynden, we got enough snow to build an Igloo. That was almost five years ago!! He has always wanted to build another one, but we never had enough snow.........UNTIL NOW!! So here it is!

Hope you all have a WONDERFUL christmas!

Love,

THE MOA'S

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving this week! We will be spending it in Longview with family that we do not see very often. We are excited to go and have a mini vacation for 5 days!! But I am most excited about shopping! Every year Klinton and I hit the stores by 4:30 am to get all the best deals this Christmas season. This year, we will be going with my Aunt and Grandma.....the festivities last for two days instead of one!....yay! God bless everyone and remember to be thankful!

My baby turned ONE!!

John Deere Chili Feed.......

Last night we celebrated Kamden's 1st birthday....it was spent with family and friends enjoying a big pot of chili and some cornbread! We had a great time spending his very first birthday with family and friends. I still cannot believe that he is ONE...it goes by so fast and it seems I cannot cherish it enough. It seems like in the last month he has grown way too fast.....walking, getting teeth (finally :), playing upstairs with his sissy's, and now turning one. I just want to say "WAIT, STOP! I still need my baby!! " But I can't...so I guess I have to let them grow up and cherish how little they still are.....even the girls. Because even my oldest Aliyah being 5, I think now she is such a big girl, but in 5 years I will have thought she was so little at 5. Anyways.....I could ramble about that forever:) Back to the party.....

He got his very own cake to dig into and boy did he ever! Yummy..... but what a mess!!

Kamden got lots of great presents (thanks everyone! :) and now we finally have a few boy toys for him to play with...YEAH! It was a great night getting everyone together for a great celebration...Hey, you only turn one once , right??
Kamden poses with his Nana!

Kamden got his 1st TOOTH!

Kamden finally got his first tooth! (or should I say teeth). Oddly enough, he got his top tooth first, along with his top eye tooth. It looks really funny!

Annual Stoneyridge Farm Trip....

Every year we go to Stoneyridge Farm to pick our pumpkins. As soon as we got there, the kids said,"We're hungry!" (of course! :) So, we went to the snack shack and they picked out some very cute pumpkin cookies. Aliyah couldn't eat all of hers, so Daddy had to his and hers......bummer! :)

Then we went and they got there photos next to the How Tall this Fall sign....We get their photo done every year there so we can see just how fast our kids are growing before our eyes. Kamden got to get out of the stroller for this picture! It was fun to see all three of our kids lined up together.

They got to look at all the animals although Kamden was not interested and Adyson was a little 'timid'. Aliyah was in on all the action. Then we went on the hay ride down to the pumpkin patch where all the kids got to pick their own pumpkins. I got photos of each one with theirs.

It was a beautiful day and I was sooooo thankful that it was not raining! It was time well spent as a family and I can't wait until next year!!
